Nearly 400 special athletes from sports clubs affiliated with the Special Olympics movement in Québec, Ontario and New England take part annually in the Défi sportif in three sports: track & field, rhythmic gymnastics and swimming. Congratulations to all the participants and many thanks to their coaches and companions!
The Défi sportif for disabled athletes is one of the largest adapted sport competitions in the world, an annual one-of-a-kind multi-sport event that attracts over 3,000 athletes with the five types of disability: auditory, intellectual, physical, visual and psychological.
