Aéroports de Montréal and Air Canada
Since 1999, Aéroports de Montréal and Montreal Police Neighbourhood Station 5, in collaboration with Air Canada , organize the 767 Challenge to benefit Special Olympics Québec. The growing popularity and success of this unique event can be attributed to the involvement, relentless energy and resourcefulness of the volunteer members of the organizing committee including many ADM employees.
AIR MILESmd
Every June, the Loyalty Group organises a national awareness campaign encouraging their cardholders and corporate clients to donate AIR MILESmd reward miles to Special Olympics. In addition to featuring special athlete testimonials and stories on their website, thousands of reward miles are generated and used to cover airfare for athletes and their companions to travel to competitions and training sessions in preparation for Special Olympics National and World Games.

Since the inception of the Special Olympics Festival to benefit Special Olympics Québec, Ardmore Exhibits ensures the merchandising and professional display of hundreds of articles of sports equipment, collectors’ items, art and rare wines put up for auction at this prestigious event. This generous donation of in-kind services increases sales and net revenues generated through the silent auction.

STAPLES Business Depot/Bureau en gros, proud national sponsor of Special Olympics Canada since 1996, has organized for many years an annual fundraising campaign involving their associates, clients and suppliers. CN
CN Police officers have organized the Steel Challenge to benefit Special Olympics Québec every year since 2000, with the help of their colleagues at the CN Employees’ and Pensioners’ Community Fund . The idea is so original and its success as a public relations tool for promoting safety around railways has prompted other CN police detachments in Canada to incorporate the event into their annual community events calendar. Thanks to this initiative, countless CN employees and pensioners’ have discovered the Special Olympics movement and got onboard.

Thanks to the generosity of its employees and customers, Canadian retailer Home Hardware supports the 31,000 Special Olympic athletes throughout the country.

Represented by Tom Quinn, President, Franchise Division, The Forzani Group, based in Laval , QC , a past board member and Governor of the Special Olympics Festival for Special Olympics Québec, Forzani and its franchisees provide generous financial support by organizing an annual golf tournament and a gala fundraiser. In addition, Forzani partners with the Loyalty Group every June and invites its clients to donate their AIR MILESmd reward miles to Special Olympics.

Special Olympics Québec partner since 2010,
PROXIM’s participation is aimed at encouraging and supporting the practice of sport by people living with an intellectual disability. In the course of the next two years, the movement’s 4,000 athletes will see the PROXIM banner displayed at various SOQ sports and fundraising events. PROXIM is also committed to raising awareness of Special Olympics Québec through its website, flyer, newsletter and radio ads.
